What is Massage?

Massage is a gentle, relaxing spa treatment that involves rubbing, pressing, and manipulating your skin, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and connective tissues. Our massage therapists use a wide range of motions and intensities, from light pressure to deep pressure, to alleviate your chronic pain and discomfort. If you experience discomfort and pain because of the overuse of muscles, physical activities, and underlying medical conditions, massage therapy can help you feel better.

Types of Massage

  • Swedish Massage: This is an extremely gentle massage that involves using deep circular movements, kneading, long strokes, and vibration to help you relax and alleviate pain.
  • Deep Massage: This massage technique uses slower motions to target deeper layers of connective tissues and muscles to untangle tightened knots of overused muscles.
  • Prenatal
  • Hot Stone
  • Lava Shell
  • Warm Bamboo
  • Lymphatic Drainage
  • Lomi Lomi

Hot Stone Massage

A hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands or by placing them on pressure points in the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

Lymphatic Drainage
60 min – $99 | 75 min – $109 | 90 min – $129

There is a silent system working to keep us healthy within us – the lymph system. The lymph system’s impact is so far-reaching that many don’t realize that minor aches and pains, low energy, or susceptibility to colds and flu may be due to a sluggish lymph system and a compromised immune system. Lymphatic drainage therapy consists of a very light and gentle massage. Your therapist focuses primarily on specific lymph nodes and points of the body and the natural flow of the lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage is a process that will help reduce blockages of the lymphatic system, promoting a healthier body.

Instead of targeting specific areas, this massage focuses on connecting the mind and body as a whole to release tension, balance energy, and promote optimal healing from within.

Lava Shell Massage
60 Min – $99 | 75 Min – $109 | 90 Min – $129

Lava shell massage uses tools made of real crushed seashells and are filled with iron, magnesium and lavendula oil that provides a toasty heat lasting 60-90 minutes. This massage uses nature’s elements to improve your body’s energy flow and is created to deliver the perfect amount of heat to soothe tight muscles, work out knots, and ease the mind. The shape of the shell gives us the ability to apply a light pressure, or a very deep pressure if desired. Because the shells stay hot for so long, there is more hands-on time and less time switching out tools making this an ideal alternative to hot stone and warm bamboo massages.

Massage Enhancements:

  • Aromatherapy $10
  • Hot Stones $5 (4-6 in one area)
  • Deep Tissue $5 (one specific area)
  • Warm Bamboo $5 (few tools one area)
