How Phototherapy Works
What is Phototherapy?
Phototherapy uses a wearable mask that delivers 633nm red light and 830nm near-infrared light to the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. These clinically proven wavelengths stimulate collagen and elastin production, improve circulation, and rejuvenate the skin. With three treatments per week for four weeks, you may notice firmer, smoother, and healthier-looking skin—all from the comfort of your home.

Your Phototherapy Options
faceLITE
faceLITE is an LED facial mask. It delivers 633nm (red) and 830nm (near infra-red) light into the skin tissues on your face to stimulate collagen production. Over time, your facial skin looks smoother, firmer, tighter, and more youthful. The results improve over several weeks.
décoLITE
décoLITE is an LED neck mask. It delivers 633nm (red) and 830nm (near infra-red) light into the neck tissues, one of the first areas on the body to show signs of aging. Over time, it stimulates collagen production to make your décolletage look smoother and firmer.
Phototherapy FAQs
How does phototherapy work?
Phototherapy is the use of light energy to stimulate natural biological healing. Over 1000 studies have shown that targeted wavelengths of light energy stimulate cellular regeneration and collagen production within the body. When 633nm (red) and 830nm (near infra-red) light penetrate the skin’s surface, they enhance cellular metabolism and proliferation, enhance cellular balance repairing homeostasis within the cell, increase blood flow and lymph activity, improve tissue oxygenation, eliminate toxins, and increase collagen and elastin synthesis.
What are the results of phototherapy?
Phototherapy consists of using LED sheets for the face, neck, or hands for around 3 sessions per week for a few weeks. The red and near infra-red light catalyze your body’s natural healing properties, thereby reversing the signs of aging. Studies have shown that 98% of the patients achieve tighter skin tissues after 3 treatments per week for 4 weeks, and 95% of the patients achieved brighter and plumper skin after 4 weeks.
How often do I need to use faceLITE?
The faceLITE device should ideally be used for 30 to 60 minutes per session. You need to repeat the treatment thrice a week for up to 4 weeks for fine lines and wrinkles. However, different treatment concerns, such as textural irregularities, involve different treatment recommendations. Your service provider will offer an overview of your treatment frequency during your appointment.
Can it work with skincare products?
faceLITE and décoLITE improve your skin’s ability to absorb and retain skincare products. After undergoing the treatment, you can use the skincare products given by the service provider to enhance the results. The treatment works best in combination with the faceLITE peel pads and hydrogel mask. Your service provider will recommend the ideal skin care products for your specific needs.
